Michael Wirth Sensei - Founder and Chief Instructor

Sensei Michael Wirth began training in Aikido in April of 1972 under Sensei Maruyama at the Arch st. dojo in Philadelphia Pa. He received his black belt status in under four years and continued to grow and train with sensei Maruyama reaching the 4th degree black belt level. In 1991 he founded Ki No Kawa Aikido and broke off on his own.

Sensei With continues to train with his students while teaching them, following the Founder's ideals of continued growth through training.

With over thirty years of experience, Sensei Wirth is a Master of his art and has a true understanding of Ki development and spiritual growth. He insists on the highest standards of Aikido training from his students to ensure that the art he's dedicated his life to is passed on in it's truest form.

Sensei Wirth is respected and loved by all who have had the priviledge to train with him.
